For banks & credit unions
Help your members pause, understand, and choose a safer next step.
Ania is a second set of eyes for technology โ the suspicious text, the confusing pop-up, the "is this real?" moment before someone taps. Members send what they're unsure about and get a plain-English verdict and the exact next steps, on any phone or computer, with nothing to install.
๐ซ Never asks for passwords, codes, or payment ๐งญ Official channels only โ never a number from a message ๐ Measured accuracy, published
What Ania does for your members
Consumer education and a place to pause โ the same product families use, not a corporate console.
Review before acting
Members send suspicious texts, emails, links, and QR codes and get a color verdict with the reasoning in plain words.
Recognize impersonation
Guidance points at channels members control โ your official app, your website typed by hand, the number on the card โ never a number that arrived in a message.
Calm recovery
When someone already clicked, the containment plan puts contacting the institution through official channels first โ no blame, no panic.
Everyday confidence
Printers, Wi-Fi, settings, notifications โ the ordinary tech problems that erode confidence get patient, step-by-step help.
Family support, member-controlled
Each member's privacy dial decides which event summaries a chosen guardian sees โ summaries, never transcripts.
What exists today, and what is roadmap
No capability is claimed before it ships. Every row below is marked Today or Roadmap โ evaluate us on the first list and hold us to the second.
Member access
Today: a zero-install web app on any modern browser; family members join with their own invite link. A shared family text number is in pilot, not generally available.
Official-channel guidance
Today: recovery and containment plans route members through each institution's own official channels, drawn from public FDIC and NCUA records for thousands of institutions. Ania never publishes phone numbers โ members are steered to look the number up themselves.
Privacy & data visibility
Today: member-controlled privacy dial; guardian views carry event summaries, never submitted-message text or full replies; an append-only record keeps who viewed a member's activity summaries. Retention and deletion are documented in the Privacy Policy.
Escalation model
Today: a member's chosen family guardian gets event alerts and a calm weekly report. Roadmap: authorized-family-contact and member-plus-fraud-team escalation workflows.
Branding & domain
Roadmap: co-branded and white-label deployment (logo, colors, custom domain). The consumer experience is not white-label today, and this page will say so until it is.
Authentication
Today: family accounts with invite links and member PINs. Roadmap: single sign-on and membership-number sign-in.
Reporting
Today: per-household weekly reports for guardians. Roadmap: aggregate program reporting for institutions, subject to the same privacy floors โ minimum reporting thresholds, never message content.
Commercials
Today: published consumer pricing. Institutional licensing โ pilot, volume, multi-year, per-member โ is discussed per engagement and not yet priced.
Straight answers for risk and compliance
Accuracy is measured, not claimed
Every verdict Ania publishes comes from a fixed, public test set with per-message results and an explicit "what this doesn't measure" section. See measured accuracy and how Ania checks.
How the AI works, named
Verdicts come from a deterministic rules engine; paid plans add a second AI reader (Claude by Anthropic, GPT by OpenAI) that can only make Ania more careful, never less โ if the rules engine says scam, nothing talks it down. Models are never trained on family data.
No badges we haven't earned
We display no third-party certification badges because none have been earned yet. What we show instead is documented behavior: the one rule is enforced in code, privacy settings are tested per setting, and history views are audit-logged. Security questionnaires and data-flow answers: hello@getania.com.
Where Ania stops
Ania is a consumer education and review resource. It is not a bank, not a fraud investigation service, and not a substitute for your fraud department. It never asks for credentials, never recommends sending money, and only sends the messages a family signed up for โ invites, alerts, and weekly reports.
